Text in Japanese, with explanatory essay and biographical notes in English. Black and white photographs documenting the construction of Narita International Airport in Sanrizuka and the decade-plus of local protests against the project. Koseki identifies himself as an outside observer without any special authority to take a position, though he notes several protester deaths and devotes a substantial portion of the book's photographs to recording the mass confrontations with police. Published a few years after the airport's initial opening in 1978 and before the second stage of expansion began. OCLC notes four locations, just two in the US (LOC and UM).
