Collection of warm correspondence from Waldman to poet Patricia Donegan, well-known for her work in haiku. Most of the letters date from 1981 and 1982, plus some from 1987 and others undated. Waldman discusses general life events including the early years of her child's life, and checks in with Donegan about her work as faculty at Naropa Institute – where Waldman cofounded the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics.
