From an edition of 350 copies, printed letterpress from French Elzevir type with five woodcuts by Mallette Dean. The text is a lecture given by Jeffers at the Library of Congress, Harvard, and several other locations in 1941. According to the publisher, "never before [had] there appeared in book form any prose by Robinson Jeffers other than an occasional brief preface to his volumes of verse." A lovely edition.
