Boyd, featuring a drawing and lyrics to a ballad, which begins: "Massa's gone to town de news to hear, / And he has left the overseer, / To look over all de n***rs here, / While I make love to Sally!" Boyd notes he had 10,000 such sheets for sale at his shop.
