Late issue of this seminal publication of the Mimeo Revolution and one of the most influential little magazines of the 1960's. Distributed by mailing list, FB served as an important venue for the poets of the Beat and New York schools, as well as other experimental and avant garde writers of the decade. From issue 28 on includes pictorial covers (as here) by artists such as Jess, George Hermas, Wallace Berman, and others. A landmark of the mimeo form, as important to the movement as Sander's FU or Berrigan's "C." This issue edited with help from "Maneuvetaur" William Linich (Billy Name) of Warhol's Factory. Contributors to this issue include: Frank O'Hara, Julian Beck, Robert Grosseteste, John Thomas, James Waring, Gerard Malanga, Fielding Dawson, and George Sorrentino.. [Clay and Phillips pp. 74-75]. [Anderson and Kinzie 699-700].
