[Hand-Illustrated Dungeons & Dragons MONSTER MANUAL Printed in Hebrew]

[Israel]: [ca. 1992]. Hardcover. 4to. Commercial dual-ring binder with paper jacket hand-illustrated to both front and rear, featuring a dragon and a wizard respectively. Contains ca. 150 leaves of commercial D&D rules (THE MONSTER MANUAL, to be precide) printed in Hebrew, most photomachenically copied, but some apparently commercially produced. Frather ad-hoc, with four hand-drawn illustrations in back in colored marker and some handwritten notes interspersed. About very good overall, with light to moderate wear. Very good. Item #21855

A young Israeli D&D player's hand-compiled and extra-illustrated Hebrew MONSTER MANUAL, likely dating to the mid-nineties. The illustrations are, shall we say, in a typically early adolescent nerd style? An elaborate and carefull-assembled document that serves as an interesting record of both D&D fandom in general, but also of the game's reception in Israel. more specifically. Charming. Or at least this former D&D-er thinks so.
