np: nd (ca. 1970?). Side-stapled olive construction paper wraps. Photomechanically duplicated from typescript (probably mimeograph, but possibly bad photo offset). Wrappers edge-worn and faded with some creasing. Light wear overall. Rear wrapper almost detached, else very good. 133pp. Item #14266
“I am writing down my reminiscences in the hope that a truthful account of the events experienced by my generation, describing the background and the ideas prevailing at that time, may be of interest and possibly of help, to my descendants.” An essentially unpublished memoir about the Russian Revolution told from the point-of-view of the young daughter of an aristocratic family. The author later emigrated and worked as a translator in the U.S. Presumably printed in tiny quantities for private circulation only. Detailed, unsentimental, and honest: a revealing document.
